Warm welcome to our new first-year students

We cordially invite our new first-year students in the bachelor's and master's programs to our welcome event on Monday, October 13, 2025, starting at 6 p.m. in the large lecture hall (B001) at Oettingenstraße 67!

There, we will welcome our “freshmen” from all of our programs at the Institute for Communication Science and Media Research—whether they are majoring or minoring in the bachelor's program, the master's program in Communication and Media Research, the master's program in Strategic Communication, the master's program in Journalism, or the new faculty master's program in Computational Social Science. We will introduce you to the institute and our faculty, and then there will be time for small group discussions.
