About the person

Ulrike Schwertberger pursued her academic studies in Media and Communication Science with Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and the University of Connecticut from 2014 to 2018, attaining her Bachelor's degree. She subsequently pursued her Master's degree in Communication Science at the LMU Munich from 2018 to 2020.
Since October 2020, she has been working as a research assistant at IfKW, conducting her doctorate research on the utilisation and implications of media multitasking. She is also engaged in research concerning group dynamics in radicalisation contexts as part of the BMFTR-funded project entitled "RadiGaMe: Radicalisation on gaming platforms and messenger services".
Furthermore, she served as a mid-level representative on the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences from October 2021 to September 2025 and has been involved in the DGPuK's Reception and Impact Research section as a mid-level representative since October 2023.
