Sophie Lexhaller studied communication science with a minor in psychology (bachelor's degree) from 2019 to 2022 and communication science (master's degree) from 2022 to 2024 at the Institute for Communication Science and Media Research at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. After working as a student trainee in public relations and media education, she joined Prof. Dr. Diana Rieger's department as an assistant in 2023 and has been working there as a research assistant since July 2025.
