Anna Sophie Kümpel
Anna Sophie Kümpel is Chair and Professor of Communication with a focus on media uses and effects at the Department of Media and Communication at LMU Munich since October 2024. From 2020 to 2024, she was an Assistant Professor for Digital Media and Methods at the Institute of Media and Communication at TU Dresden. She earned her PhD at LMU Munich in 2018. Her main research areas include media uses and effects, particularly in the field of digital and social media, as well as research methods.
