Neben den Tagungen der großen Fachgesellschaften ist das IfKW auf ganz unterschiedlichen anderen Tagungen vertreten. Hier finden Sie eine Übersicht und einen Einblick in vergangene Beiträge.

Interdisziplinäre Forschung – interdisziplinäre Tagungen

Das IfKW ist auf zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Fachtagungen vertreten – von den großen kommunikationswissenschaftlichen Konferenzen wie DGPuK, ICA und ECREA bis hin zu interdisziplinären Foren wie der International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) oder der International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP).

Darüber hinaus präsentieren IfKW-Forschende ihre Arbeiten regelmäßig auf methodischen Fachtagungen, KI- und Computational Social Science-Konferenzen sowie in Spezialgruppen anderer Fachgesellschaften. Diese Vielfalt zeigt die enge Vernetzung des Instituts innerhalb der Kommunikationswissenschaft – und darüber hinaus mit benachbarten Disziplinen wie Psychologie, Politikwissenschaft, Informatik, Soziologie und Medienpraxis.

Unsere Beiträge reichen von theoretischen und methodischen Innovationen bis zu anwendungsorientierten Forschungsprojekten, die gesellschaftliche Fragen von Öffentlichkeit, Medienwandel und Kommunikation im digitalen Zeitalter beleuchten.
